I build robust, maintainable software and reproducible analytical systems for research and data-intensive organizations. My background combines an MD/PhD in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology with several years in computational toxicology at the U.S. EPA, where I developed R software for high-throughput screening. I have also designed and taught graduate-level R courses. My work spans R package development, scientific pipelines, simulation, statistical methods, visualization, databases, bioinformatics, and technical training.
